The Lombard Brew Fest brings together some of the best Chicagoland and Midwest breweries for a laid-back afternoon of great beer, good food and live music all in support of local causes that make our community stronger. ​With dozens of breweries, food trucks, games, and a lively downtown atmosphere—it’s the perfect excuse to make a day of it and explore everything Lombard has to offer. All proceeds from the Lombard Brew Fest go directly to the Lombard Junior Women's Club Philanthropic Fund, supporting local food banks, families, and charities right here in our community.

​Join the Lisle Woman’s Club on Sunday, June 14th 2026 from 10 am to 4 pm for their 24th Annual Garden Gait. It is their premier fundraising activity showcasing beautiful homeowner gardens in Lisle. Begin your day the Museum at Lisle Station Park.  Here you will pick up a booklet directing you to our gardens.  Visit our Craft Fair at the Museum Park and enter our Gift Baskets Raffle.  Be sure to stop by The Netzley-Yender House for a complimentary refreshments before or after you tour the gardens and craft fair. 

Proceeds from Garden Gait helped to fund the Lisle Woman’s Club philanthropic work and in support of children and families in and around our community - including awarding scholarships to graduating seniors and adult woman returning to school each Spring.  Thank you for your support!

Join the GFWC Illinois 5th/6th District for a wonderful evening at Osteria by Capri in Downers Grove (attached to the Doubletree Suites by Hilton) on Monday, May 11th to celebrate an incredible year of giving!

In addition to sharing District updates, we will be recognizing 5th/6th District Clubs for outstanding service projects and inducting 2026-28 Officers. All 5th/6th District Clubwomen are welcome to attend!

Doors will open at 5:30pm and dinner will be served at 6:00pm.

Enjoy a delicious full course, family-style meal including coffee, tea and soda for $47.50/person (Chicken Parmigiana) or $44.50/person (Eggplant Parmigiana) with a cash bar for beer/wine/cocktails.

Walk is the largest event to raise funds and awareness for the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association®. The Alzheimer's Association is the newest GFWC Affiliate Organization as announced at the GFWC Annual Convention!

Currently, more than 6 million Americans are living with Alzheimer's and over 11 million family and friends provide their unpaid care. Please join Team GFWC IL 5th/6th District in our efforts to fundraise and bring awareness to end this devastating disease. All Clubwomen, family and friends are welcome to participate in this UNITY PROJECT! Here's how you can help:

• Walk with Team GFWC IL 5th/6th District! Encourage your Club gal pals to join our team and walk with us! Don't forget to wear your PURPLE!

• Not a walker? Consider donating to help Team GFWC IL 5th-6th District meet our $2000 Fundraising Goal!

• Spread the News! Let's see how many Clubwomen we can get to support this UNITY PROJECT! Let's do this!

Doors will open at 5:30pm and food begins at 6pm. Food will be pizza, cheese ravioli, mostaccioli with meat sauce, Italian beef, fried chicken, salad, pepsi, lemonade, iced tea and coffee. Dessert will be provided.

Cost will be $37.50 per guest. This includes the buffet, gratuity and tax. Please make check payable to GFWC-IL 5th/6th District and mail to Joan Marchese. Please get your checks (along with your head counts) to her by April 23.
